Description
- The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving company growth through strategic sales initiatives.
- The role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development, and closing deals to increase revenue and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Generate leads, follow up on prospects, and convert them into active clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business growth
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in line with company objectives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Good understanding of the local market and customer behavior
